About this piece
Paul Marteau's 1930 deck appears here in a softer, contemporary palette, with its iconic symbolism kept. This Tarot de Marseille Pastel is a 78-card tarot deck for readers who love a classic design in gentler colours.
Its 78 cards are cardboard and come with an interactive digital guide inspired by Jungian psychology, with interpretations of the arcana. Boxed, the deck measures 12.5 cm tall, 6.8 cm wide and 4 cm deep, and weighs 275 g. The box is matt laminated cardboard with LDPE plastic wrap.
Tarot decks are traditionally used for divination, by drawing a single card or laying out a spread. This Marseille deck in pastel shades is a gift for a reader who knows the classic pictures, or for a beginner choosing a first Marseille-style deck.
A good gift for: tarot readers, tarot beginners, deck collectors, Marseille tarot fans.
