About this gift
Cartomancy means reading cards for divination, and The Parisian Sibyl gives it a playful, contemporary update. Its pictures are the distinctive illustrations of Jean-Jacques Grandville. It is a welcoming deck for a beginner and a fresh one for an experienced reader.
The set holds 67 cards: a 52-card divination deck plus keyword cards, spread templates and sample readings. A spread is the pattern you lay cards out in for a reading. You also get access to a tutorial video to help beginners build confidence. The set weighs 280 g. Boxed, it measures 13 cm tall, 9.2 cm wide and 3.5 cm deep, in a matt laminated cardboard box with plastic wrap.
Choose a spread template, draw from the deck and use the keyword cards as you learn, while the sample readings show how a full reading comes together. With Grandville's characterful art, it is a charming way into the cards.
A good gift for: card reading beginners, oracle card collectors, art lovers.
