About this gift
These handcrafted brass miniatures bring Hindu devotional art to a small home altar or a desk. Ganesha is the elephant-headed god of Hindu tradition, and Hanuman the monkey god. They are made for collectors of Indian craft and anyone who keeps a shrine.
The Hanuman, 36 mm and 30 g, shows him in a prayer pose with his mace beside him. The three Ganesha figures, 30 mm and 12 g, 37 mm and 22 g, and 49 mm and 52 g, each show him seated on a lotus base; the largest holds traditional symbols. All four are brass.
In Hindu tradition, Ganesha is honoured as the remover of obstacles and the god of new beginnings, and Hanuman for devotion, courage and service. A small brass figure keeps that devotion close at hand, a lasting piece of fine metalwork for anyone who honours them.
A good gift for: devotees of ganesha, altar keepers, collectors of indian craft.
