About this gift
Bright colour on an altar marks a ritual as something special, and these dipped taper candles bring it in threes. A taper is a tall, slim candle, and dipped means it is made by dipping a wick into wax. They make a colourful choice for witchy friends or anyone setting a dinner table.
The set holds three candles in unscented paraffin wax, so no fragrance competes with incense or food. Each candle burns for about 3 hours, best taken one hour at a time. Together they weigh 200 g and come in a colour cardboard box with a window.
Lit candles are a traditional part of altar work in witchcraft and paganism, and these are made for rituals and meditation as well as supper. With three to a box, there is one for tonight and two more for the next ritual or dinner with friends.
A good gift for: witchy friends, altar keepers, candle lovers, dinner party hosts.
