About this gift
Casting runes is an old way of asking a question, and this onyx set is a clear place to begin. It holds 25 rune stones in a pouch, in black, yellow or blue onyx.
Twenty-four of the stones carry a rune symbol and one is left blank. The blue onyx set comes in a printed cotton pouch. Onyx is a natural stone, so each set is unique, and colour and pattern vary.
Runes are the letters of old Germanic alphabets. Some believe rune stones were first used between 2000 BC and 100 AD by the Goths and other Germanic tribes. In a reading, people draw one or more stones and reflect on each symbol. For a beginner drawn to Germanic lore, a set in a favourite colour is a grounded way to start.
A good gift for: rune beginners, divination lovers, pagan friends, crystal collectors.
