About this piece
Play your first note with a singing bowl set that includes the brass bowl, a mallet, a ring pillow and a carrying case, made for beginners and collectors alike. It is a complete kit for anyone who wants to learn this instrument.
Bowl size is 9 x 5 cm, with a weight of 550 g and an approximate frequency of 659 Hz. You play it by striking the rim or side gently with the wooden end of the stick, or by rubbing the padded end around the rim for a softer, mellow sound. The ring pillow steadies the bowl, and the carrying case makes it easy to transport and store. It can take practice to master.
Meditation practice often features a singing bowl as a sounding instrument. It makes a thoughtful gift for a friend who is starting out. Strike the first note and start your own bowl collection.
Great for: meditation beginners, sound lovers, instrument collectors, spiritual friends.
