Every card looks like a papyrus scroll from a sacred bestiary, a book of animals. Each shows a real or mythological creature that was venerated in the time of the pharaohs. The cardboard deck weighs 290 g. Wrapped in cellophane, it measures 13.5 cm high, 10 cm wide and 3 cm deep.
In ancient Egypt, many gods were shown in animal form, and the creatures linked to them were honoured. In a reading, the creature on each card and its qualities become the focus. For a reader who loves the myths of the Nile, it brings a whole sacred bestiary to the table.
