About this piece
Tantric Dakini Oracle cards are a 65-card deck of surreal collage images for divination, made for readers who love Tantric art. Dakinis are female figures of intuitive wisdom in Tantric tradition. Penny Slinger created the images, which draw on symbols and archetypes.
The system is based on work at the Ranipur Jharial Temple in Orissa, India, where 64 Dakini stone carvings stand. Scholar Nik Douglas shaped it from Tantric teachings. The deck has 65 cards, and its size is 159 x 239 x 45 mm. The system uses two layouts: the Tree of Life, which follows the chakra centres of the yoga body, and the Great Universe Map, which explores astrological influences.
Dakinis suit a quiet practice: take one card, look slowly at its images, then lay out the Tree of Life or the Great Universe Map. Pick your layout and start your first Tantric Dakini reading.
Great for: oracle card readers, tantric art lovers, divination beginners, dakini fans.
