About this piece
Ring in the voice centre with this throat chakra singing bowl: a brass bowl, 8 x 8 x 5 cm, that you play with a wooden stick. A singing bowl is a type of bell, so its sides and rim vibrate to make sound.
Throat chakra tradition names communication and creativity as its function, bright blue as its colour, Mercury and Neptune as its planets, and sodalite, blue lace agate and lapis lazuli as its stones. Its meditation phrase is I speak.
Practice is part of the fun: the bowl is slightly tricky to master. Take the wooden stick and make your throat chakra bowl sing.
Great for: chakra fans, meditation beginners, singing bowl collectors.
