About this gift
Hand painted in teal and gold, red and gold, black and grey, white and grey or black and gold, this resin Buddha statue is devotional and decorative art in one. Its poses are mudras, symbolic hand gestures in Buddhist tradition.
Medium statues measure 15 x 12 x 7 cm. The teal gold large is 22 x 17 x 10 cm, and the red gold large is 20 x 17 x 10 cm. All are resin and hand painted.
The teal gold medium and black grey medium show the Dhyana mudra: hands in the lap, the back of the right hand on the left palm, thumbs touching to form a triangle. This meditation mudra symbolises wisdom. Both large statues show the Varada mudra, right arm down and palm facing out, its five fingers representing generosity, morality, patience, effort and concentration. With seven styles to choose from, it is a respectful way to bring Buddhist art into the home.
A good gift for: buddhist art collectors, meditation lovers, yoga teachers, new homeowners.
