About this gift
Hand-carved with an elephant, this small soapstone oil burner is as much a little piece of craft as a way to scent a room. Soapstone is a soft natural stone that is easy to carve by hand, so it takes carved detail well.
At 8 x 6.5 cm it is compact and made for smaller spaces. To use it, add water and a few drops of your favourite fragrance oil to the top bowl, then light a tea light candle beneath. As the water gently heats, the scent spreads through the room.
Elephants are a well-loved motif in carved stone and, in many cultures, a symbol of wisdom and memory. Set beside a few favourite oils, this burner turns an evening at home into a small scent ritual, with a carved elephant to keep it company.
A good gift for: elephant lovers, home fragrance fans, lovers of carved stone.
