About this piece
Colour and fine detail cover this low-medium Happy Drum, finished with a mandala leaf design that stands out without feeling overwhelming. It is a steel tongue drum for a beginner who wants to start playing straight away.
Tuned to a lower register, it gives warm, mellow tones with a gentle depth, and each note flows smoothly into the next. The layout is easy to follow, so no experience is needed. Play it with light hand tapping or the included mallets for softer or more defined sounds.
Slow rhythms and simple melodies suit it well. Compact at 14 x 7 cm, it is easy to carry from room to room, and the mallets and protective carry bag come with it, so everything is there from the start.
A good gift for: music beginners, drum lovers, meditation fans, mandala art fans.
