Witching Hour Cat Snow Globe by Lisa Parker

Witching Hour is a snow globe for the friend whose shelf already holds a gothic cat or two. Made by Nemesis Now from the imagination of fantasy artist Lisa Parker, it shows a black cat reclining on leather-bound occult books, tail curled as it looks up.

Beside the cat lie a curled scroll and a candlestick burnt almost to the nub, its flame still flickering. The base looks like wood, with a band of golden Celtic design on red. An open book with a quill in an ink pot shows a poem about the magic of the witching hour. Shake it and red glitter falls slowly over the cat.

Witchcraft folklore has long included black cats, so this globe sits well with a collection of witchy ornaments. It is a gift for a cat lover, a gothic décor fan or anyone who likes the look of a quiet night of study.
