About this gift
Pale selenite bars form the alchemical symbol for Air at the heart of this halo lamp, and pieces of natural clear quartz surround its round black frame. Air is one of the four classical elements, and alchemists gave each its own symbol. It suits crystal collectors and lovers of the elements.
Switched on, the lamp lights the stones in a crisp white glow and shows their translucent textures. It measures 18 x 10 x 20.5 cm, on a metal base. Power comes through the attached USB cable, which has an inline on/off switch; a USB power adaptor is not included. Because the gemstones are natural, colour, shape, clarity and placement vary, so every lamp is unique.
Crystal lore links clear quartz with clarity and focus, and selenite with purification. The lamp works in a bedroom, a meditation corner or a living room, with or without the lore. Real crystal around an old symbol makes it a lamp with a story.
A good gift for: crystal collectors, lovers of the elements, witchy friends, people with a meditation corner.
