About this piece
Start your practice with a Five Buddha singing bowl set: a handmade brass bowl with a cushion and wood stick, in a box. It suits meditators, yoga students and anyone drawn to Tibetan tradition.
Handmade in Nepal by traditional artisans, the bowl weighs at least 400 g. The set includes the bowl, an authentic cushion and a wood stick. Use the stick to make the bowl sing. Singing bowls are a type of bell, so the sides and rim vibrate to make sound. It is slightly tricky to master.
The number five holds great significance in Buddhist traditions, linked to colours, senses, Wisdoms and elements, all expressed in the five Buddhas. Singing bowls are found in temples and yoga halls. Ring up your own with the Five Buddha singing bowl set.
Great for: meditators, yoga students, Buddhist tradition fans, chakra stone collectors.
