About this gift
In Feng Shui, the double gourd, or Wu Lou, is a well-known symbol of long life. This hanging tops the gourd with a dragon head and hangs it from a beaded cord. Feng Shui is the Chinese tradition of arranging a home in harmony with its surroundings. A thoughtful piece for anyone who follows Feng Shui.
The gourd is solid brass with a warm antique-style finish, smooth and rounded, with a reassuring weight. Red coin-style inserts and engraved Chinese-style characters decorate it, and the cord mixes black, cream, amber-toned and wooden beads. It measures 65 x 25 x 25 cm.
Traditionally, the hanging is placed in a bedroom or a living space, and in Chinese tradition the dragon is a symbol of strength. The coins and characters are traditional blessings for long life. Choose it for solid brasswork with symbolism in every detail.
A good gift for: feng shui followers, new homeowners, collectors of chinese brass.
