About this piece
Dark red and pink colours show once this coloured calcite geode in black rock is opened. Geodes are hollow stones with crystals formed inside, so this one suits collectors who like to display them open.
Average size is 8.5 x 6 cm, and it may vary because a geode is a natural product. The colour is artificial: the geode and the crystals inside it are painted. Each geode is unique, the result of a very long process of crystallization. Geodes are lighter than solid stones.
Collected and displayed open, geodes are decorative objects, and this dark red and pink one is an easy way to start or add to a collection of crystals.
Great for: crystal collectors, geode fans, crystal display lovers.
