About this piece
Batik art begins with hot wax drawn straight onto the fabric. The banner is a batik wall hanging for anyone who likes colourful chakra art on the wall.
After the design is drawn in wax, natural dyes build the artwork. The fabric is then stretched and sun dried once the wax is washed out. It is rayon. Rainbow, Sky Blue and Midnight each measure 183 x 35 cm, and Dragon measures 175 x 53 cm.
Four options are on offer: Rainbow, Sky Blue, Midnight and Dragon, the widest at 53 cm. Chakras are the seven centres described in yogic tradition, so a chakra banner is a natural fit for a yoga or meditation space.
Great for: yoga lovers, chakra fans, batik art lovers, meditation spaces.
