## About this item

The Oracle of Rewilding gives you 44 full-colour oracle cards with a surreal, dreamlike look, made for animal lovers and anyone who reads cards. Human and animal hybrids share the pictures. Each card presents a universal animal archetype and what it stands for.

Paintings based on glass-plate negatives from 1880–1920 give the cards their look, combining vintage photographs with animal spirit paintings by Alexandra Eldridge. The set measures 142 x 194 x 39 mm, small enough for a shelf or a reading table.

The guidebook by Sherry Salman runs to 176 pages in full colour, with stories, symbols, fairy tales, poems and myths that explore each card. Oracle decks are traditionally used for divination and reflection. Draw your first card from The Oracle of Rewilding and see which animal you meet.
