## About this item

Rider Waite Smith tarot cards are the classic 78-card deck for anyone starting to read tarot, with a 48-page book included. A E Waite is the author and Pamela Colman Smith the illustrator. Tarot is traditionally used for reading and reflection.

78 cards sit in a box with a 48-page paperback book, published by Arcturus Publishing on 1 Aug 2022. Tarot is traditionally split into the Major Arcana, the trumps, and the Minor Arcana, the four suits. The set measures 131 x 157 x 39 mm.

Lay out a few cards and think about what they mean for your question. That is how tarot is usually read: one card at a time in a set layout called a spread. Keep the 48-page book beside you as you learn. Pick the Rider Waite Smith deck and lay out your first spread.
