## About this item

Anne Stokes imagined this mermaid figurine: a hand-painted resin siren sitting on a rock, made for fantasy and mythology collectors. Sirens have long been known in myth for luring sailors with looks and an enchanting call.

Skulls of her victims float on the water's surface as she washes her tail through them. Mist rolls in, and an unsuspecting ship is lured toward her as she beckons another companion. Cast in resin and carefully hand-painted, the scene is full of dark detail.

Sirens sit at the heart of seafaring myth, and this one brings that legend to a mythological fantasy collection. Welcome the Siren's Lament mermaid to your display.
