## About this gift

Milky white and twisted into a spiral, this selenite wand catches the light in a way that feels truly lunar. Selenite takes its name from Selene, the Greek goddess of the moon. It suits a crystal collector or a beginner building a first altar.

The wand is 16 cm long and 1.5 cm in diameter, with a point at both ends. Its milky crystal refracts light softly. Placed on an LED light block, a small lit base, it lights up for a display. Each stone is unique, so colour and pattern vary.

According to crystal lore, selenite is linked with the crown and third eye chakras, two of the seven chakras named in yogic tradition. Many keep a selenite wand on an altar, especially around the full moon. For a moon lover, few crystals look so much like moonlight.
