## About this item

Gothic rune oracle cards bring the Gothic alphabet to your reading table: 25 colour cards and a 160-page guidebook by Nigel Pennick. It suits anyone who already reads runes or tarot and wants a new set of staves.

The guidebook looks at each of the 25 Gothic staves alone and as part of its aett, the three divisions of the runic alphabet. It covers rune spreads, the Raed Waen divinatory rite, and how staves combine in pairs and trios. It measures 147 x 103 x 27 mm.

Runic readers have long used the rune row for divination. The ancient Goths saw runes as symbols from the spirit realm and used them to read the cycles of fate, known as Orlög. Start your Gothic rune readings with the first spread in the Goth Oracle guidebook.
