## About this gift

A crystal rune set for anyone who wants to begin casting runes. Runes are symbols used for divination, and here they are carried on small stones that sit easily in the hand, kept together in a pouch.

Twenty-five stones make up the set: 24 carry a rune symbol and one is blank. Each stone measures 1.5 cm. Crystal varies naturally, so each stone is unique and colour and pattern differ from set to set.

Some believe runes were first used between 2000 BC and 100 AD by Germanic tribes such as the Goths. Today people draw or cast them for divination, which makes this a good first set for a beginner or a collector.
