## About this item

Runes and the Gods is a set of Norse oracle cards for rune readers: 50 full-colour cards, each a rune or a god, with a guidebook for every card. Its runes are the letters of the Norse runic alphabet, and its gods are the Aesir and Vanir, the two families of Norse gods.

Thyonesca illustrated every card, and each one represents a rune or a god in full colour. The 240-page guidebook draws on the Hávamál and the Eddas, the old Norse poems of myth, to explain each rune's origin and meaning. Its meanings focus on relationships and career, and it includes several spreads. The set measures 181 x 128 x 42 mm.

Norse myth frames every card in the guidebook, so each rune or god comes with its mythological setting. Winter evenings and Yule suit slow reading. Choose Runes and the Gods and start with a single-card draw.
