## About this gift

A soft whitewash finish and a dark iron holly cut-out make this mango wood angel a quiet Christmas decoration. Standing 18 cm tall, it is a gentle gift for someone who decorates with wood and natural textures, or for an angel collector.

Artisans in India hand-carve the angel from mango wood and finish it in a soft whitewash. The holly design is an iron cut-out in the skirt, so warm pale wood and dark metal sit side by side. It measures 8 x 2.5 x 18 cm.

Angels have long been part of Christmas and Yule decorating, and this one looks at home on a mantel, a windowsill or in an entryway. Its whitewash and holly feel festive in December, yet the design is simple enough to stay out well beyond Christmas.
