## About this item

Sunstone is the gemstone at the heart of this crystal pendulum, made for anyone curious about dowsing. Dowsing is an old practice, also used in divination, where a pendulum is held on its chain and watched as it moves.

Each pendulum is handmade from a natural product, so it is unique and the size of the gemstone piece varies. It measures about 4 x 2 x 2 cm. The chain is approx 170 mm long and ends in a gemstone bead.

Believed to date back over six thousand years, dowsing counts the Egyptians and ancient Chinese among its early practitioners. This sunstone pendulum suits a diviner's table or a growing crystal collection, and makes a thoughtful gift for a curious beginner.
