## About this gift

Faceted means cut into many small flat faces, the style of this amethyst crystal ball. It sits on its own stand, a neat choice for a crystal collector or someone just starting out.

The ball is about 5.5 cm across, and about 10 cm with the light brown stand, which is wood. Amethyst is the purple variety of quartz. Each stone is unique, so colour and pattern vary.

Amethyst has a long place in crystal lore, where it is linked with intuition and the crown chakra. Set on its stand, the faceted cut and purple colour make a small focal point. A classic stone in a shape with real presence, it is an easy crystal to love and to give.
