## About this gift

Two enamelled offering plates and two ritual goblets make up this altar range. The plates stand on three legs and hold incense, herbs or small ritual items. A goblet, or chalice, is a cup kept on the altar for water, wine or offerings.

The gold goddess on black plate shows a gold goddess and stars on deep black; the hands & sun plate shows open hands holding a sun. Both are enamelled aluminium, 16 x 4 cm, with a raised edge for ash. The iron pentagon goblet bears a pentagram and measures 20 x 11 cm; the copper Tree of Life goblet measures 10 x 15 cm.

In Wiccan and pagan tradition the pentagram stands for the five elements, and the Tree of Life for growth and connection. Each piece earns its place on the altar, in use or simply on show.
