## About this gift

Coloured calcite geodes are hollow stones with crystals formed inside, made for collectors and anyone who likes unusual display pieces. Once opened, each one shows its colour. Choose Natural Pink & Gold, Natural Purple & Gold, Black Purple or Black Yellow.

An average geode measures 8.5 x 6 cm and can vary, because it is a natural product. Each one is unique, the result of a very long process of crystallisation. On the two Natural options the crystals inside are painted. On Black Purple and Black Yellow, both the geode and the crystals inside are painted, so the colour is artificial.

Collectors often display geodes open, and these work as decorative objects on their own or as a growing collection. Geodes are lighter than solid stones and hard to recognise from the outside, which is part of what makes them fun to collect.
