## About this gift

Suar wood in a whitewash finish is carved by hand into this Buddha statue, a piece for a home altar or a favourite corner. It is devotional or decorative art, named Welcome, for anyone who keeps the Buddha at home.

Choose between 40cm and 30cm. The 40cm statue measures 32 x 16 x 40 cm, and the 30cm statue measures 26 x 13 x 30 cm. Both are suar wood, so grain and finish vary from one statue to the next.

Statues of the Buddha are traditionally kept as devotional art in Buddhist practice. This whitewashed suar wood Buddha is a thoughtful gift for a housewarming, or for someone who already has a small altar.
