## About this gift

Buddha faces make the design of this pressed glass candle jar, a piece of decorative Buddhist art for anyone who loves candlelight. Pressed glass is glass shaped by pressing it into a mould. It is a good find for collectors of Buddhist art or glass candle holders.

The jar measures 6.8 x 7.3 cm and comes in four shades: royal blue, antique amber, midnight grey and garden jade. All four are the same size and made of pressed glass, so you can choose one or set a few side by side.

Candles are a traditional offering in Buddhist practice, lit before an image of the Buddha as a sign of light and wisdom. Light a candle inside on a slow evening and the coloured glass glows around the flame. It is a small, meaningful way to bring that tradition home.
