## About this gift

Anubis, god of the underworld in Egyptian mythology, stands in a warm bronzed finish in this resin figurine. He is made for collectors of Egyptian art, for history lovers and for anyone who keeps an altar to the old gods.

He holds the ankh staff and the scale of justice. The ankh is the ancient Egyptian sign of life, and together the two stand for the balance of life and death. The figurine is cast in resin and hand-painted in fine detail, with a bronzed finish, and it comes in a gift box.

Known in Egyptian lore as the guardian of the tombs, Anubis is kept today as devotional or decorative art. Set him on an altar or among a collection of Egyptian pieces. For a friend drawn to the gods of ancient Egypt, he is a thoughtful and characterful gift.
