## About feng Shui & Home

Feng Shui is the Chinese tradition of arranging a home in harmony with its surroundings. Its best-known pieces include wind chimes, lucky cats, money frogs and crystal spheres for a window. Himalayan salt lamps are carved from pink rock salt and give a soft, warm glow.

Tapestries and altar cloths dress a wall, a table or an altar for a sabbat. Statues and figurines here include moon goddesses, Green Men and garden pieces. Every page gives the size and materials, so you can picture where a piece will sit in your home before you buy it.

## Questions

### Where should a wind chime go in Feng Shui?

Feng Shui tradition places metal wind chimes in the west and north-west of a home, and wooden ones in the east and south-east, often near the front door. Many people simply hang one where a breeze will catch it.

### How do you look after a salt lamp?

Keep a salt lamp in a dry room, away from steam and windows, and switch it on often: the warm bulb keeps the salt dry. If it gets damp, wipe it with a dry cloth. Unplug it before changing the bulb.
